The S.G. Elliott burial map for the Gettysburg battlefield was created by Simon G. Elliott in 1864. Elliott documented the burials of Union and Confederate soldiers, as well as the burial of horses across the Gettysburg battlefield. Elliott also included fortifications built during the battle, while including an inset for the recently dedicated Gettysburg National Cemetery. The map is housed in the collection of the Library of Congress, and you can download a high-resolution copy of the map from their website
